Brazil and the geoPDF

Brazil and the geoPDF
May 6, 2019 by latinnav

We have adopted a new work methodology when georeferencing charts for Brazil, since the state authorities (DECEA) improved their API console, permiting to load the newer files in geoPDF.

This is a great advantage at the time of preparing and converting cartography into geoTIFF format and saves us a lot of georeferencing time-consuming job.

After a couple of projection & quality adjustments, and a proper map cropping, we will move forward to the rendering process, which will conclude with a geoTIFF file at 500dpi.
